13/3/12 fishing report
Good Dabs, Whiting, Dodfish, Buss Huss and School Bass coming from the local beaches. Its early for the Bass which are taking bottom baits, like lug and mackerel. What few boats that are going out are doing very well with whiting and some very good Bull Huss up to 16lb and plenty of them. No signs of any codling around now, it was a short spring run of them this year.

Had a day out onboard Haf Aled today from Pwlhelli. The sea was like a mill pond :) Plenty of good Huss, Whiting, Dogfish and Dabs. Using fillets of whiting was the main down fall for most of the Huss. The Dab fishing was slow yet enjoyable, they may be small but on light gear they are fun.
Beach fishing on the Llyn has started to pick with the first of the Bass starting to show on a few of the beaches plus, some codling, whiting, dabs and dogfish.

The Brave RNLI crews
This is what our brave local RNLI lads endured in their search a couple of days ago. Well done guys.
